[ In case you haven't heard... ]

We are moving to Arizona!

My dear husband finally got the call for the dream career we've been waiting on for over 20 months. When they offer you the job, you don't ask for a different location or a chance to think about it, you just say "YES!" This is a HUGE answer to prayer for us and I can't be more excited for my husband that he'll get to wake up every day to a job he's stoked about. I'm a little jealous :) He has done a ton of work, gone through a lot of stress, and worked very hard to get this job, and I'm so glad for him-- and for US-- that the waiting is over.

It's funny to me that God chose Arizona for us, because my heart has been oddly set there for awhile. If I had to move, I secretly wanted it to be fairly close to family in San Diego. I also have followed some very talented photographers that are located out of Phoenix (www.stephaniefayphotography.com and www.promisetangeman.com), and I've also followed a very special couple from Chandler, AZ, as they've journeyed to adopt a baby (www.dearbabyguard.com).

We have extended family on Joshua's side in Tucson, so that's comforting to have family close. It's amazing to be a part of a story that God is writing... I have never had so much peace about something and it really is incredible to be at a point where we see God's fingerprints all over this news.

The day after we got the news, I was listening to K-Love on my way home from work. Chris Tomlin's song, "I Will Follow" came on and the song was requested from a woman in Tucson, AZ. Quite fitting.

"Where you go, I'll go
Where you stay, I'll stay
When you move, I'll move
I will follow...

All your ways are good
All your ways are sure
I will trust in you alone
Higher than my side
High above my life
I will trust in you alone."
