It's almost November!
HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Our dear friends Josh & Laura from Dallas, TX, (above) are going on a two-week long trip to Cambodia with Hope For the Silent Voices at the end of December. Hope for the Silent Voices is "... a not-for-profit organization founded to bring attention and resources to the severely neglected, disadvantaged, abused and discarded globally. Hope For the Silent Voices is committed to giving a “voice” to these individuals and groups as they have neither the resources nor the means for doing it themselves. We endeavor to have a positive influence on those we encounter by not just hearing these “silent voices” but listening to what they are saying. One of our goals is to forge dynamic personal relationships with those in need and to explore significant ways to enhance the quality of these individuals’ lives."
Josh is a dedicated former Marine who has served our country in multiple tours to the middle-East; he's a marathon runner, martial arts instructor and all around awesome dude. His lovely wife, Laura, is one of my dearest friends-- a talented graphic designer, blogger, marathon runner, yoga-participating-health-guru with a major heart for missions... both are incredible people who desire to SERVE.GOD and chase dreams (even seriously considering quitting jobs and even law school, say what???!, to pursue this FULL-TIME) to live out what God has commanded us to do --> serve + love + spread the gospel!

* I will still be promoting myself on some high-traffic blogs so that means reverse exposure for you and your blog/shop *

For the past couple of months, I have been doing sponsor swaps, which has been fabulous! But God has been changing my heart about a few things. I love helping promote other blogs, and in turn they have helped ME! I have been soooo blessed by the support & the relationships I've made via this little space. However, one other thing has been nagging on my heart... and that's actually getting passionate about using this place to do something GOOD. As a possible platform to help some of those dearest to me AND help end a current, major problem in our world:
HUMAN TRAFFICKING

This is an absolutely horrific issue that is going on NOW, as we sit here in our nice, comfy couches. Some of these kiddos are being sold into sex slavery as young as 3 YEARS OLD! I know not all of us are able to physically do something, but most of us are able to do something monetarily... even if it's just a little! So... ready, set, let's GO!
