This girl has a heart of gold.
Not only did she sponsor this month and help support our friend's trip to Cambodia with "Hope for the Silent Voices," she told me she wanted to TRIPLE whatever the asking price was.
Wow.
Thank you, Melissa for being here and for your generous heart!
And to all of the other lovely sponsors, you amaze me!
Thank you. Thank you.

How would you describe your blog?
My blog is a reflection of me, some days it involves cooking or crafting, on other days it's college sports, pictures from my travels and the scrapes I get myself into as a twenty-something living on my own for the first time in a new city.
What is your favorite aspect about blogging?
This is a tough one, I love that my family and friends are able to stay connected with what I'm doing now that I live much farther away, but I also love that I've made new virtual friendships. I am constantly amazed and inspired by what I see on other blogs and the fact that many of these women take the time to write comments on my blog or email me constantly blows my mind.
It's almost Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for my family and some great new friends I've made in the Bay area. I am especially thankful for my job this year. Last year, I was in San Francisco desperately attempting to find a job in SD and a year later I'm thrilled to call the Bay area home because of a great job opportunity that was/is an amazing fit for me.
Any special plans for the holiday?
This year, my parents are coming up to celebrate and we'll be eating with friends who have a daughter at Stanford. We've spent many Thanksgivings with them over the years and it'll be great to get together in a new place. Also, I plan to eat lots of turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, green bean casserole, cranberry jelly and rolls.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving tradition?
My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is going to the movies after dinner and before dessert. I especially like the excuse to watch a kid movie and have my parents foot the bill. This year, I'm hoping to see The Muppets Movie.
