Anyhoo, the girls and I wanted to meet up again especially before things get crazy with the new year! Jen's best friend, Kristen, was visiting and she is awesome so it was great to meet her, too. So I headed to Phoenix and we met at Jen's fabulous new home and got the grand tour... The house was so big I got lost in it! From there, we headed out to lunch at Bison Witches-- a great little restaurant with tasty soup and sandwiches right near the ASU campus. After lunch, we headed to the Desert Botanical Garden. While we were walking in, I noticed the entry fee was $18. But I didn't want to say anything... maybe Jen had a coupon or something ;) But $18? Seriously?!!! I have never been to a botanical garden that wasn't either 1.) free or 2.) under $8. So fortunately, while we were approaching the entrance, each one of us kind of looked at one another and we all knew what the other was thinking... "There is NO way on earth we are going to pay $18 to look at natural vegetation." Hahaha! So we joked about "our trip to the botanical gardens" by taking lots of pictures (like true bloggers do, duh!) even thought we didn't actually go to the botanical gardens.
Since we saved $18 on the natural vegetation tour, we figured that we could spend that kind of money on something edible. Or maybe two things edible! So we headed over to Scottsdale and stopped at Yogurtland and Sprinkles Cupcakes. Erin and I got the lemon and it was so tasty!!
In true blogger fashion, it is a MUST to take many photos of your food!!! :)
Great time, great ladies! True evidence that blog friends can become true, life friends!
