Hi there! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
We had a really great weekend that consisted of going to a farmer's market, meeting friends for breakfast, and a lot of napping and catching up on HGTV shows! After a few weeks of going non-stop, the time to relax was much needed and appreciated!
My parents were here last week for the 3-day weekend. It means to much to both me and Joshua that both of our parents take the time to come and visit us as much as they do. We never really go more than 2 months without seeing one another, and that is such a blessing! I know that the 6 hour drive through the middle of nowhere in-between San Diego and Tucson is not a pleasant drive! :) My parents are the most amazing people in the world and have always been my biggest supporters and encouragers. Not only are they my parents, but they are my best friends and having to move away from them has been really, really hard. I always go through like a 3-day depression after they leave. So sad!
But, on a more positive note, we had a great time while they were here. My mom and dad are just LOVING being grandparents-to-be! Can't you just tell?! :) Sorry for the picture overload below. We went to Sabino Canyon in the north Tucson Catalina Foothills for the very first time and I couldn't help but take a lot of pictures! It was a great hike with a lot of stunning views. One of my favorite things about living in a new city is exploring new places. Keeps life interesting!!

After the hike, we went out for some lunch at Gentle Ben's and enjoyed lunch in the sunshine. The restaurant is located directly outside of the University of Arizona campus and it's one of our favorite places to people watch. Lots of great fashion trends going on ;) 
Also during their visit, we did some bike riding, my parents played golf, and we enjoyed a few trips to the lake. Can you see the snow on the mountains? A lot of it has melted, but yes, we get snow in Arizona-- lots of it, actually! 
It was a great visit and I'm counting down the days until I see them next :)
