Jason Russell grew up in San Diego just like me and his face is a familiar one. It's crazy to see it splashed up on billboards, on YouTube, and now, on videos like this. I'll never forget hearing him speak at church in 2004. Invisible Children was a small movement at the time, but look what it has become now. I remember Joshua telling me when we were dating that he wanted to drop everything and join forces with them. I was selfish at the time-- I didn't want him to leave me! God opened different doors for him, but it surely would have been an awesome experience. Please circulate this video-- Facebook, Tweet, and Facebook about it! Let's do this thing.

All my dreams came true, and I'm going :) Couldn't be more thrilled! I'm meeting Jen for coffee first thing in the morning up in Phoenix and then it's off to gorgeous, snowy Flagstaff for 4 straight, wonderful, creative days in a mountain cabin with some of my favorite crafters and bloggers!! Cheers to coming back inspired and refreshed. I need it.
