sorry to keep this short a sweet but i am seriously running on adrenaline at this point.
since wednesday, we've been going non-stop. friday-sunday we painted the house.
sunday we had to move everything out of our old place.
and then 100% clean it.
and who wants to really clean a place you're moving out of? i mean, seriously?
(but i will admit i did shed a few preggo tears when we shut the door and bid it goodbye.
our very first place of dwelling in arizona,
off of the street in which we got our puppy's name)
monday, carpet was installed.
my back aches, my house is in scrambles, and i've never been more exhausted
(moving 7 months preggo is NO JOKE)--
nor, have i ever felt more kindness from friends who helped paint, move furniture,
let us use their trucks, you name it...
i've loved the last couple of days of friends just stopping by,
offering meals, of community...
moments of kissing my husband goodnight on our mattress in the middle of the
living room because it hadn't quite made it up the stairs,
eating tacos on the living room floor because our table wasn't set up yet,
and waking up next to my better half
in our new bedroom-- in our home that we own--
and being completely amazed at all God is doing in our lives.
and talking about how in just 3 months, that nursery next door will be
finally inhabited with her beautiful, little face.
"You are more, You are more
Than my words will ever say
You are Lord, You are Lord
All creation will proclaim
I'm running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world, forever reign"
