The Blogger Connection // 4 Bloggers You Should Know

I thought the world was small when I started blogging, but no... it's even smaller! It's crazy how the online world brings people together. I was having a convo with a girlfriend about this subject the other day. She is not a blogger, however she did admit that she believes that social media and online relationships are the way of the future. Sometimes it feels less personal than actually sitting with a friend in a coffee shop and enjoying one another's company. However, as busy women, social media has helped us to still stay connected with friends all over the world-- and even in our own little world in our cities-- while we tend to babies, run small businesses and manage our households.

A few weeks ago, my friend Nicole over at The Style Hatch posted a picture on Instagram of her and her husband out on a double-date with another couple who were visiting them in their small town in Missouri. I noticed the couple looked oddly familiar, contacted her, and sure enough she told me their friends were from San Diego and they ironically went to our old church. So wild! It's amazing how a little app on my iPhone suddenly brings mutual friends and aquaintances together. Do you think that social media is helping or hindering our relationships with others?

On this topic, I'd love to introduce you to four of some of my favorite bloggers. You might know them; you might not. I have a small connection to them and knowing them has led me to other bloggers. They are too cool to not show you! I love following along with their lives on this crazy small world that we call the Interweb.

// Kelli Murray --> A Beautiful Mess

As a former designer for the clothing line Jedidiah, Kelli is a girl raised right down the street from my childhood home. She and Joshua went to high school together, and she's always been bursting at the seams with creativeness (check out her art, wow!). I have loved watching her becoming a mom last August (yay for August babies!) to her baby girl, Rylee, and watching her style evolve since she's become a mom. You'll love this blog for creative inspiration for everything from sewing your own baby clothes to fashion and interior design.

After following Kelli's blog, she brought me to Elsie + Emma over at A Beautiful Mess with her weekly DIY and fashion post contributions. That's another great blog you should check out!

Andrew + Carissa Gallo --> Love, Taza //

Andrew & Carissa are a successful duo (she's a photographer, he a videographer) who's blog is almost calming to my soul. Carissa is my friend Carly's little sister. I've loved watching Andrew & Carissa's adoption journey with little Rinah. They are inspirational as contributors for Kinfolk, a beautiful magazine publication, and inspirational as people in general. Such a beautiful blog with stunning pictures!

Through Carissa's blog, I discovered the lovely Naomi over at Love, Taza. Carissa and Naomi were good friends while they both resided in Washington, D.C. What's not to love about this blog? Naomi has her own little E and she is quite possibly one of the cutest kids I've ever seen (after my own daughter of course, duh!). I've loved watching their family expand over the years and love living vicariously through them and their adventures while living in Washington, D.C., and New York City. I especially love this video of Andrew & Carissa's work, using Naomi (and her husband Josh)-- so creative & lovely!
