Day 8 in the May Blog A Day challenge: A Moment in Your Day
There are so many beautiful moments in my day, but there are a few I wanted to specifically document today.
Yesterday, we went up into the city and grabbed a tasty late lunch and a bite of gelato. There was this awesome moment where we all gathered in the store's mirror and captured a few photos of us all together. Having my parents here has just been wonderful- I love them so!
And speaking of food, we ate dinner out on our patio two nights ago and it was the perfect Spring, soon-to-be-summer evening. We made burritos and quinoa salad and enjoyed some beers outside. Can't get better than that.
Joshua recently put up a swing in our backyard for Eden. She absolutely loves it. I love watching her kick her legs in delight and scrunch up her nose and share her little grin for us when she realizes she's moving back and forth in the wind. These have been some great recent moments. I think I'm subconsciously savoring them all before both my husband and parents leave for their trips. Soon enough I know it will be very, very quiet around here with the exception of a little one who has really found her voice (shrieks, screams and everything) and who is wanting to move everywhere. Someone hold me ;)
