These products below have become recently added to my makeup collection over the summer.
And all, I am happy to say, are major, inexpensive keepers! Score!

Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer in Light/Medium, $6 at Wal-Mart
This is the best drugstore concealer I've ever used. I typically use a department store concealer by MAC because it provides great coverage (other than that, I'm not a MAC fan, sorry!). I typically don't wear foundation, so concealer has to do the trick. My sweet friend, Jenna, recommended this product to me and I'm so glad she did. Can't beat the price! It's a little thick so a lot goes a long way. It also came with a small concealer stick for touch ups on the go. I'm so happy to have finally found a great concealer that does high quality covering at a drugstore price!

Sally Hansen - Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in White Out, $3 at Wal-Mart
White nail polish is super trendy right now. What's your take on it? While at first I wasn't a fan, I have to admit that it's grown on me. I initially bought this to use to do nail art for 4th of July. While I am a fan of the nail polish, my 4th of July nails didn't turn out so hot ;) I think this color looks awesome on short, trimmed nails. The positive about a light color nail polish is that chips aren't as obvious, and I really need that these days with a little one on the go!
Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream in Light/Medium, $12 at Target
I finally found the perfect coverage for my skin! I've gone back and forth over the years between tinted moisturizers and foundations. I've also created my own tinted moisturizer by taking my foundation and mixing it with a small amount of moisturizer. Once I found the perfect foundation, I noticed that once it was exposed to air, it would gradually grow darker in color (yuck!). At $28 a bottle, I hated that. So finally, after seeing the commercials and hearing from others about this, I tried it out when I had a coupon. Again, a small amount goes a long way with this. My tube has lasted me over 3 months. It provides even, medium coverage and keeps my skin looking dewy and soft. It's also so convenient-- unlike foundation where I have to really blend and make sure it looks even, this is just like a moisturizer in that I put a small dab on my fingertips and simply rub all over my face. In a minute, if that, I can be out the door. I really don't see how I will ever be going back to $28 department store foundation anytime soon!
NYX Mineral Matte Finishing Powder in Light/Medium, $9.99 at Ulta
and NYX HD Studio Photogenic Primer, $14.99 at Ulta
You can see by the receipt above just how affordable these two products are. I'm pretty sure I had a coupon at Ulta, but still. You can't beat two products for $22 that work flawlessly. I've always wanted to try Bare Escentuals but just couldn't bite the bullet because of the price (and what if I didn't like it, ya know?). It also seemed really messy. But once again, Jenna recommended these products to me and I've been wanting to try NYX products for a really, really long time. I use a quick sweep of the powder to set my concealer/tinted moisturizer and control shine. It provides a great amount of coverage and I have also used it after putting on just concealer (with no tinted moisturizer) and it works well like that, too. The primer is incredible! I got the universal color and it almost has a blue-ish tint to it. I just use a small, pea-size amount and rub it in my T-zone (forehead, nose, chin). During the summer heat, this has saved me! My makeup has not slipped off, but has instead stayed put and that's exactly why I adore this primer and it's here to stay! It also reduces the appearance of my pores and helps my powder to stay out of my smile wrinkles ;)
