Summerhaven is exactly that-- a safe haven for those who want to escape the hot, summer heat (but can someone tell me... is this weather normal for AZ?! In the 70's and raining every day with crazy thunder and lightning!? Is THIS what people are freaking out about?!). At the top of Mt. Lemmon is this quaint, mountain town. We stopped for a big, homemade cookie and enjoyed some people watching. Bliss.
