I have to say that one of my favorite things about living in a new city is exploring all of the fun, new places that we have not seen yet. There is something to be said about being completely uncomfortable. Uncomfortable in a good way. As in, you don't know how to get where you're going or you don't know where to eat for lunch. It's all new, foreign, uncharted territory. I took so many pictures this weekend, but today I'll just share some of our adventures downtown. Perhaps I'll share some of the others later in the week.
Before this move, both Joshua and I slowly began to crave a fresh environment. Fortunately, his job helped make that dream a reality for us. It's so cool to finally be living it out. To go down streets that we have never walked before. To stop at a little cafe for lunch and taste something we've never tasted before. To suddenly turn down a path that led us to a fresh farmer's market that we'd never been to before. So many firsts. And there could not be a better person to do it all with :)
We are absolutely smitten with the unique, urban charm of our new town. Of the warmth of the people we've met. Of the wide open sky and the warmth that constantly touches our backs. So to the next person that asks if we like it here, the answer is yes.
