Two.
Two months old.
Two whole awesome months of watching this little beauty grow.
Two months of praying over her... of worry, excitement, pure joy, anxiety, lack of sleep, smiles, endless dirty diapers, and pure, uncontrollable love.
I've often heard moms say that every month got more and more exciting for them as a new mom.
I can see how that is somewhat true. I find myself anticipating holidays and events with this bundle of joy of ours and am excited for milestones like crawling, walking and trying solid foods.
However, I sometimes find myself wishing that she'd just slow down growing just a bit. Since Eden was born, she's always seemed big to me. I guess that's what happens when you birth a 9 lb 3 oz baby! I just want her to stay little a little longer.
At 2 months, Eden is starting to drool... a lot! She's obsessed with sucking on her hands, has smiled when discovering her toes, can hold her head up without assistance, is enjoying tummy time a little bit more, and finally slept through the night last night! At her checkup, she came in at 13.1 oz (90% percentile) and 24 inches (98%). We definitely have a little basketball player or future Heidi Klum on our hands ;)
