There really aren't enough words to describe how much I love being a mom.
In the beginning, I was so sleep deprived it was hard to really get a grasp on just how much love I have for this little human being... I mean, it was instant love the second I saw her... pure, unconditional love. But the love grows more each and every day.
Tonight, Joshua and I were watching a commercial that showed a father and daughter G-chatting while the girl was at college and I looked over to see him with tear-filled eyes. We've become emotional saps over here. I guess that's what parenthood does to you. It really does make you a more sensitive soul.
It's crazy how much love I have for someone I've only seen for 6 weeks and yet known for 10 months now. The love I will feel in 6 months will be insane and the love I feel in 6 years will be intense.
I now know and truly comprehend the depth of God's love for me.
